Improved Water Meshs

For our Film a high fidelity beautiful Water render was needed.
I used  attributes baked into the model like hand calculated curvature vorticity velocity and depth to create masks for beautiful and quick renders without occupying too much time. I also reduced the simuation and file sizes by calculating the attributes post flip sim.

Jet Personal Project

Jet Diamondsare some of the hardest thinigs to do with a simulation.
During University I wanted to test myself and Houdini to create a Rocket Engine based heavily on the SpaceX Raptor Engine. To show off advection currents, Force Fields and delayed displacements I created a highly coplex result that I was exceedingly proud of.
During UNiversity I wanted to test myself and

Fountain Study

During my Flip studies for water meshing I wanted to study how to create and mist water and white water without needing a simulation. The ideal test subject was a small fountain where they d not create bubbles but derive thei whiteness from the vorticity of the particles within the water mesh. Since I had access to a local fountain I spent aweek studying it and returned with a simulation close to its cousin.

Flower Vellum

For a project with ETC I was given a Flower asset that I could simulate opening. I had the honour to have free reiggn over the simulated animation, textures and, lighting.  I revisited teh Simulation many times due to its excellent example and test of target geometry, houdii rigging, blendshapes, USD attributes, Point Deform and, personally I love flowers.

RIVER SIM

For a personal project I wanted to study water on rivers. So using flip boundaries an emissive areas I created a rushing river. I did all the modelling and simulations myself.

Hepititus B Virus

This was work done for the studio Random42

I had a personal connection to this brief as one of my loved ones suffered with this disease and so I hoped to represent the more intensive second side of the breif where the Virus infects the cell as it was symbolically important to me.
